Quentin Tarantino, 58, built a name for himself in Hollywood with films such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Kill Bill, and Django Unchained, among others, receiving countless honors and plaudits for his efforts. Although Quentin’s directing abilities are legendary, many of his fans might not be aware that he has a supporting partner who has been by his side for the majority of the last ten or more years. If you’re not familiar with Quentin Tarantino’s wife, Daniella Pick, here’s what you should know.
Who is Daniella Pick?
Daniella Pick is a singer and actress born in Ramat Ha-Sharon, Israel, in 1983. Her father is Svika Pick, an Israeli pop singer who rose to prominence in the 1970s by performing the Hebrew version of the Broadway musical Hair.
During the performance, he and his castmates stunned the audience. According to the Jerusalem Post, during one scene, the young Svika Pick and his castmates “stripped down to their birthday suits, causing uproar across the country, as well as in political circles, and left an indelible mark on the national psyche.”
Pick began her own pop career with her sister, Sharona, in the early 2000s, decades after her father’s famous performance. Their musical cooperation was brief after the release of their hit single, Hello Hello.
They sang the song at Eurovision in 2005, finishing 11th out of 14. Following their breakup, Daniella focused on her solo career, delivering hit songs including More or Less and Love Me.

When Did Daniella Pick Begin Dating Quentin Tarantino?
Pick first met Quentin Tarantino in 2009, when the director was touring Israel to promote his picture Inglourious Basterds. They were initially seen romantically connected during the 2009 Whip It film premiere; however, their relationship ended in 2012.
Tarantino and Pick reconciled in 2016 and became engaged a year later before marrying in a small ceremony at their Beverly Hills home in California in 2018.
According to Us Magazine, Tarantino told GQ before meeting Pick that he did not envision marriage in his near future. “Here’s the thing. When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else. It’s all about the movie,” he told GQ Magazine in 2009.
“I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way. The whole world can go to hell and burst into flames. I don’t care. This is my life.”
He continued, “I’m not saying that I’ll never get married or have a kid before I’m 60. But I’ve made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies.”
Tarantino, who married Pick in 2018, told The Associated Press while promoting his film Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood at the Cannes International Film Festival that Pick is “perfect.”
He added, “I just got married six months ago. … I have never done that before—and now I know why: I was waiting for the perfect girl.”

How Many Children Do Quentin and Daniella Have?
In August 2019, the couple revealed that they were pregnant with their first child. A spokesman told E! News, “Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are very delighted to announce that they are expecting a baby.”
Their baby, Leo, was born on February 22, 2020, in Tel Aviv, Israel; however, according to Us Magazine, Tarantino informed Jimmy Kimmel that they considered a different name.
“We almost didn’t name him that because people would assume I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio,” Tarantino was quoted as saying.
“There’s nothing wrong with that, but … he’s named after my wife’s grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion. So He’s a lion. That’s how we thought about him.”
Tarantino and Pick welcomed their second child on July 2, 2022. According to a press release, “Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are happy to announce that Daniella gave birth to their baby girl on July 2, 2022, a little sister to Leo, their first child.” Their daughter’s name is yet to be revealed.
