Yoshitaka Murayama, the talented creator of Eiyuden Chronicle and the Suikoden series, has passed away.
Murayama formed Rabbit & Bear Studios to work on the game Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and the company shared the tragic news on their website. They said that he died on February 6 from an ongoing illness.
The crew at Rabbit & Bear Studios remarked how much they will miss him, especially since he won’t be able to see how fans react to Eiyuden Chronicle, a game he worked so hard on as the writer.

Murayama was also honoured by 505 Games, the publisher of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, who referred to him as a pioneer, visionary, and valued gaming industry partner.
They stated his ingenuity and passion for games had a long-lasting impact, and he would be deeply missed by everyone, including his family, friends, and coworkers.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a spiritual sequel to the beloved Suikoden series Murayama co-created in the 1990s, is still set to be released in April of this year.
