‘Chainsaw Man’ by Tatsuki Fujimoto was the most bought comic book in the U.S. for January, according to Circana’s book sales report.
The top 20 list for the month was dominated by manga, Japanese comics, with 16 spots taken by manga volumes.

Circana BookScan, previously known as NPD BookScan, tracks sales of print books from thousands of locations across the U.S., covering around 85% of the market.
They count sales of graphic novels, excluding books that are mostly text or art books. The rankings are based on the number of copies sold.
