During the Pokémon Presents stream on February 27, 2024, also known as Pokémon Day, The Pokémon Company International made a big reveal.
They announced a new game called Pokémon Legends Z-A, set to launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch in 2025.
The company shared a trailer to give fans a sneak peek into what’s coming.
Exploring Lumiose City in Pokémon Legends Z-A
The trailer showcased an exciting urban development plan for Lumiose City, a familiar location from the Pokémon X/Y games on Nintendo 3DS.
The plan promises a beautiful coexistence between people and Pokémon.
Interestingly, the colors in the “Z-A” part of the game’s logo match those of the legendary Pokémon Zygarde from the Pokémon X/Y games.
Fans speculate that Pokémon Legends Z-A might delve into the past of the Kalos region, just like Pokémon Legends: Arceus explored the history of Sinnoh.
About Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Pokémon Legends: Arceus, released worldwide for Switch in January 2022, takes players back to the Hisui region, the ancient version of Sinnoh from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.
In the game, players join the Galaxy Expedition Team’s Survey Corps in Jubilife Village to explore and research Pokémon.
They can ride Pokémon, craft items, take photos, and customize their trainers. However, players need to watch out for wild Pokémon attacks while exploring.
