Steve McMichael’s parents’ names aren’t public, but they split up before he was two years old. After the divorce, his mom married E.V. McMichael, who worked in the oil industry.
This is why Steve got the last name “McMichael.” He grew up with three siblings: two younger sisters named Kathy and Sharon, and an older brother, John Richard, making him one of four kids in the family.
