The U.S. is a place for the three wealthiest families in the world.
According to a September report from Bloomberg, The Walton, Mars, and Koch families have outpaced the list of richest groups in the world.
The families have continued to be in their positions as the wealthiest in not only the U.S. but all around the world for several years. According to a Bloomberg report, this is the fact even for the Waltons, who have wiped out millions of dollars during the last year.
Walton Family’s Wealth Doesn’t Reach the Wealth of the World’s Richest Man
Although the successors of the founder of Walmart, Sam Walton are the wealthiest family in the world as reported by Bloomberg, their wealth doesn’t make it to the wealth of the richest man in the world, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who currently have the worth $290.3 billion, as per Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List.
The Waltons’ wealth does exceed the wealth of the second richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, whose worth is currently $205.4 billion, as per Forbes. Although, according to Bloomberg’s September report, the Mars and Koch families have not made it to Bezos’ wealth.

It has been earlier reported by FOX Business that the wealth of the Koch family started with Fred Koch’s oil firm and was divided between his four sons prior when two sons left in the 1980s.
The two sons who remained are Charles and David Koch and currently, Charles Koch has become the chairman of the board and David Koch serves as CEO, who also remained in the position of leadership till 2018, passed away in August 2019.
