The mid-1980s saw Famke Janssen’s rise to stardom as a model, but today she is virtually unrecognizable due to extensive plastic surgery. Perhaps she had plastic surgery using funding because in 2019 her salary dropped owing to the Hollywood crisis.
The actress who is now 55 years old, was seen strolling through New York City’s Washington Square Park with her friend. She covered her lips in order to prevent the coronavirus from entering her body while she showed off her trim form. Her misshapen features and swollen cheeks were still plain to see.
At the age of 20, Janssen emigrated to the United States to pursue a career as a model. She became the face of major fashion houses’ advertising campaigns, including those for Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, and Chanel. The late Hedy Lamarr, a Hollywood icon, was often compared to her because of their stunning good looks.
In the early 1990s, Famke made the decision to forgo a career in modeling in favor of acting. She had instant success in her new field and was soon cast in the James Bond blockbuster GoldenEye. The lethal Xenia Onatopp was embodied by Pierce Brosnan, who played the role of secret agent 007.
She is also well-known for her portrayal as the superhero Dr. Jean Gray in the “X-Men” franchise, as well as for the “Cut Me” series and the “Taken” sequels in which she co-starred with Liam Neeson.
It’s no secret that the actress has been ruining her looks for years, and the results aren’t pretty. Famke has had too many Botox injections, so she can’t grin or frown because her face is too smooth. When your skin is so thick, it is difficult to exhibit any emotion.
Janssen has only been married once, to the director Tod Williams, who is 51, and she does not have any children.
