Hoda Kotb is a popular American journalist, television personality, and author. She is widely recognized for her work as the co-anchor of NBC’s morning show, Today, and as the co-host of the fourth hour of the show with Kathie Lee Gifford. However, her professional success has not been without personal struggles, including a family illness that she has been open about.
The “Today” show on NBC is missing both of its hosts. Hoda Kotb’s absence was talked about on the show on Wednesday.
Craig Melvin from the show said that Kotb is dealing with a “family health matter” that he did not explain. She didn’t go to the network morning show last week or this week, and no one knew why.
