Ali Harper, who had celebrated another birthday by the time Season 2 of ‘Selling the OC‘ rolled around, hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and is deeply grounded in her faith and family values.
Her close-knit family includes her mother, Sharon Harper, who was crowned Miss Tennessee in 1981, and her father, Ed Harper. During her time on the Netflix show, she affectionately referred to her family as the “Kardashians of the South,” highlighting their tight bond.
After completing her schooling, Ali attended the University of Mississippi in 2011, where she pursued a degree in Broadcast Journalism and graduated in 2013. She kick-started her career as a Summer Intern at News Channel 5 from May to August 2013.

The same year, she enrolled at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she studied Journalism, Communication, and related subjects until 2015. In August of that year, she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group as an Account Executive, where she worked until August 2016.
In June 2016, Ali became a part of Carol Swain Enterprises as a Public Relations Communications Manager. Later that year, in November, she took on the role of Content Writer at Country Common, but her stint there ended in 2017.
It was in October 2017 that she decided to try her luck in the Miss Tennessee USA competition, representing the Miss Universe Organization.
She recounted her journey, saying, “I competed and won the title of Miss Tennessee USA in 2018 and placed Top 10 in Miss USA, all the while I was juggling three jobs and driving for Uber Eats on the side.” However, she stepped away from the pageant world in October 2018.
Between October 2017 and April 2019, Ali also ventured into acting with ‘Music City.’ Additionally, she began working as a self-employed Website Designer and Content Creator in December 2017.
In May 2019, Ali left Carol Swain Enterprises and later joined Engage by Cell as a Mobile Specialist Consultant in March 2020, effectively ending her self-employment ventures.
By March 2022, Ali decided to part ways with Engage by Cell. It was during her visit to Orange County, California, that she met realtors associated with the Oppenheim Group. Impressed by her potential, they extended an invitation for her to join the Oppenheim Group in Orange County once she obtained her real estate license for the state.
