Doodle for Google: The Dream Contest of Every Artist Is Back

Doodle 4 Google

Doodle for Google, also written as Doodle4Google, is an international competition held by Google every year in various countries. The task is to create a unique doodle that will be displayed on Google’s homepage for a day on any special occasion. This competition is held every year and this year was its 13th anniversary.

The participants who are students of kindergarten up to grade 12 are given a theme under which the artist has to curate a unique doodle.

“Hola Artists! Doodle4Google has come to pick you up to the artist’s land. So, pack your bag and enjoy the adventure.”

Doodle for Google is back yet again for the 13th time with tons of excitement for all the young artists out there. If you are one of the champs who want to show their inner strength through their art, Doodle for Google is the right platform for you.

You know Google is your best friend when it answers all your queries in less than a second, but a worthy friend endorses your talents and cheers you up when you deserve it. And Google even stands out in that also.

Doodle for Google: Why should you contest?

There is no way you can defy the power of Google. We live in a world where Google knows us more than our own family, and if we can use Google to tell people our inner strength through our talent and get exciting rewards in return, what is the problem?

Doodle for Google is a fantastic platform for parents to motivate their artist kid to showcase his talent. Every year more than 100 kids win exciting rewards and scholarships.

If your child can use the Google logo to share his/her inner strength, motivate him. Let the inspiration flow through your veins and reach millions of people who need it.

Doodle for Google: Why is it an artist’s dream?

Google calls all the artists from kindergarten to high school to portray their artistic values and to tell people their stories through their art.

The dilemma of every artist is that he/she can’t verbally explain what they feel. Doodle for Google is for every person who wants to express their feelings through art.

Artists from different schools, backgrounds, races, castes, and cultures every year come under the same roof and claim a fame for their talent using the world’s most popular search engine.

If you become the lucky winner, there are chances that a million people will see what you feel.

Apart from the prizes and appreciation, Doodle4Google brings an artist celebrity fame. They are called at various talk shows, interviews and do not get me started on international media cover.

Doodle for Google: Winner-Winner, Prizes-Prizes!

The contestants in the competition are judged on three factors: artistic merit, creativity, and theme communication. Doodles are then classified into five following groups:

  • Grade K-3
  •  Grade 4-5
  • Grade 6-7
  • Grade 8-9
  •  Grade 10-12

Then the finalists are judged on a state-by-state basis:

1. State and Territory Winners:

Ten or more winners from each grade group among the 54 states and territories. These 54 artistic creations are then displayed in an online gallery on the doodle for Google website.

2. National Finalist:

One finalist from each grade group, a total of 5 finalists. From the 54 finalists, a national voting system decides the five national finalists. These five finalists receive a cash prize of $5,000 and Google hardware.

3. National Winner:

The National winner is featured on Google .com. A panel of Google Executives selects this winner. The winner receives a $30,000 scholarship amount as the prize and, in addition to that, a technology package worth $50,000.
