The real situation of racism in America was shown once again via a group of white nationalists, the Patriot Front, as they rallied to share their stand and ideas on how to reclaim America.
The more than 100 white nationalists along with police escorts walked from Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., towards the U.S. Capitol.
These marchers were ready for any kind of violence that was to be thrown their way despite being surrounded by police officials. Many of them wore knee pads and brought them along with the shields. The entire scene looked like a Ku Klux Klan rally.
The group of men even had a dress code planned out for the day. They all wore khaki pants and paired them with dark blue jackets and baseball hats.

Furthermore, they wore sunglasses and gaiter masks to cover their mouths and noses. While they marched screaming ‘reclaim America’, onlookers gave them the middle finger and a few even screamed profanities at them.
The group of white nationalists became a laughing joke for many people on social media. Their poor planning only added more humor to their rally as some of them stood in the middle of the cold night for hours.
This was because they were not properly prepared. Moreover, the U-Haul van that they had rented was not big enough to seat and transport all of them together. Hence, others waited while the U-Haul van dropped the first batch and came back.
History of Patriot Front
Patriot Front is a new name that the group has given itself in an attempt to rebrand. They were previously known as Vanguard America. But after one of them murdered a counter-protestor in a 2017 rally held in Virginia, the members collectively decided to change their name.

White Nationalists continue to Spread Racism
While the entire scene seems quite hilarious, the reason behind the rally is not at all funny. It is quite disturbing. And shows that racist extremism does exist in the United States.
The fact is white nationalists and their groups such as Patriot Front are quite dangerous for the future of the country. And their rallies cannot be taken lightly at all no matter how ridiculous or funny they look. After all, their stand against others, and their idea of America is full of racist beliefs.
