Liverpool has yet to use the transfer window’s final eight days to add any reinforcements to their midfield. I understand how challenging it is to trade players, but the only two guaranteed starters in our midfield are Fabinho and James Milner. Jordan Henderson to some extent and the promising youngster Harvey Elliott have begun to contribute.
Young Curtis Jones joins the ranks of the other injury-prone players. Although our numbers are sufficient, the caliber of our members may be lacking. You can never count on Naby Keita because he is perpetually hurt and never has more than a three-game streak without an injury.
Fans may want Keita to leave before the transfer window closes. The Reds will then be able to sign a dependable player like Gini Wijnaldum. Although he is now sidelined with an injury for Roma, Jurgen Klopp could always count on him. In that circumstance FSG would be obligated to support the manager’s wishes. That’s all there is to it.
Everyone talks about Jude Bellingham but it’s so difficult to get players in and out right now that it’s almost impossible. I think the majority of Liverpool fans would like to see it but I also know that it would be difficult for the manager to do.
Liverpool Has Enough Talent to Win Despite Nunez’s Absence
Liverpool will be cursing the red card given to Darwin Nunez during their game against Crystal Palace and not just because of the injuries. We would have been a more dangerous scoring threat on Monday night versus United if he had been in the lineup as he tends to score whenever given a good opportunity.

Without him, Roberto Firmino was dropping deeper and deeper and on a number of instances, he was even next to the back four, which is a terrible place to be if you want to score goals. If you do this you put too much weight on Mohamed Salah and he may not be able to carry the team.
We’ve already discussed how the defender didn’t help Nunez out but his actions are still hurting us now. As he well knows it’s causing us some pain. Everyone at the club and among the fans is aware of it. But I have no doubt that he will return to make amends. There will be added expectations for his return but he has a debt to pay to both himself and his supporters.
But the Reds can’t sit still any longer. We need a response and Jurgen will expect one from the team. To not just keep going until the last whistle but to play well and try to regain some self-assurance in the process. Naturally, they’ll be feeling a bit down on themselves following recent results but make no mistake: they are all A-list players.
With so many injured players they are down to approximately 60% strength yet they can still overcome Bournemouth and Newcastle. Now they need to win three or four games in a row without conceding a goal. Then you’re back on track all of a sudden.
