All About Tony Hughes
On August 26, 1959, Anthony Tony Hughes more commonly known as Tony Hughes, was born. Hughes lost his hearing for good as a child and was also rendered mute by the unknown medications he was given.
Tony’s mom, Shirley Hughes used to describe her adorable son as an extroverted and upbeat kid who had no trouble making friends.
Tony attended and reportedly completed the school for the deaf in Wisconsin, as reported by Gallaudet University. After that, Hughes moved to Madison, Wisconsin where he attended college full-time while also continuing to pursue his modeling career, an endeavor in which he had already shown great promise.
How Were Tony Hughes And Dahmer Introduced?
Tony Hughes allegedly met his murderer in a gay bar, where he frequently exchanged notes with patrons. Hughes was similarly introduced to Dahmer. On May 24, 1991, Hughes was rumored to have been visiting his family in Madison before going out to dance at a gay bar in Milwaukee.
Dahmer supposedly went and picked him up, brought him home, drugged him and then apparently dismembered his organs and the rest of his body, though he did manage to keep his skull.
Tabloids have taken notice of the show because it describes how Tony Hughes and Dahmer fell in love with one another. We don’t know how much of the show is based in reality and how much was added for dramatic effect but one of the added scenes involved Dahmer attending multiple photoshoots of his alleged lover.

A report by The Associated Press states that two weeks before Huyghe’s death, his mother had informed reporters that her son had been accepted into a new position. Speculation suggests that Dahmer, who harbored only malice, was responsible for his appointment. However, he has yet to receive even his first paycheck.
It was unfortunate that all she knew about the purported friend, Dahmer, was his first name, Jeffrey.
How Did Dahmer Murder Hughes?
The characteristics of Tony Hughes’s tragic end were scant even in the show. However, according to the files held by the FBI, Hughes disappeared on May 31, 1991, when in reality, he was last seen on May 24 at the 219-Club.
After about two months, authorities confirmed his death after discovering his skull, vertebrae and other body parts in Dahmer’s apartment, along with those of several other victims.
Early in July, Tony Hughes’s mother was informed of his passing thanks to his dental records which had previously been misidentified as belonging to another person.
His mother confronted the media once again in 1992, this time telling the Associated Press, “When it happened, I thought I was about to lose my mind.” Before that, I had been asking God to reveal to me exactly where he had hidden my son. I needed to know immediately if he had died or not. The details of his death continue to cause me pain.
Dahmer allegedly admitted to 17 murders, including Hughes, who was his 12th victim. In 1992, Dahmer received his 15-year prison term. Dahmer murdered 17 people over 13 years, beginning in 1978 with his first victim and ending with his 17th victim both teenagers and adult men.
Dahmer was killed by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver during his second year in prison before he could face the full force of the law’s punishment.
Who Were Jeffrey Dahmer’s Other Victims?
Dahmer spent more than a decade cutting off the heads of innocent men and boys. The most heinous aspect of his murders was that he kept genitalia and skulls as mementos. All of his victims appear to be between the ages of 14 and 32 and the vast majority are members of the gay community like Tony Hughes.
