There have been rumours that Leonardo DiCaprio and Victoria Lamas are dating on the Internet, which is a long way away. Now, her dad Lorenzo Lamas is talking about the dating rumours.
The Falcon Crest star told the New York Post on December 28 that his daughter is very in love. He then told the paper what he told his daughter.
“I told her to treat the relationship like a holiday—just enjoy it as much as you can for as long as it lasts. And if it lasts for more than a typical holiday, great. But if not, then just guard your heart, you know? Because she’s very young.”
Don’t say that Leo and Victoria are a couple, though. Later, Lorenzo said that the Oscar winner, who is 48, and the model, who is 23, are just friends.

“They’re friends, they’re not in a serious relationship,” he added. “And I just want that to be clear.” Even though the Renegade actor said Victoria “likes” the Wolf of Wall Street actor, he said, “They’re not dating.”
“They’re just friends, but she is smitten, of course,” he continued. “And that was my cautionary tale to her: Just take one step at a time. But as of now, they’re not an item. They’re not exclusive to each other.”

In any case, Lorenzo said that the 25-year age difference between the two didn’t bother him. “Age is not really a factor for me as much as respect, trust and communication,” he noted. “That’s the key.”
On December 20, Leo and Victoria were seen leaving The Birds Street Club in Los Angeles together and getting into a car. This led to the first rumours that they were dating.

But a source close to the situation told E! News that any romance rumours were false and that they weren’t the only ones. “They were seated (not next to each other) at a big group dinner,” the insider continued. “They were joined by a number of other people in the car.”
Leo had been seen hanging out with Gigi Hadid in the past. The Titanic actor and the model seemed to hang out a few times in the fall. In mid-November, they were seen leaving the restaurant Cipriani’s in New York within minutes of each other.
“Gigi and Leo are having a lot of fun right now,” a source told E! News in early October, later adding, “They have been trying to stay low-key and private, and she has been enjoying the time they have been spending together.”
