“Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition with injuries he got earlier today in a weather-related accident while plowing snow,” a spokesperson told Deadline.
Renner has been nominated for an Oscar twice. He is the star of The Mayor of Kingstown, which is coming back to Paramount+, Marvel’s Hawkeye series on Disney+, and the Avengers and Captain America movies.
The deadline had heard that Renner had been in an accident and flown to the hospital early on Sunday. His spokesman said that his family is with him right now and that he is “getting great care.” When we find out more, we’ll let you know.
The Reno Gazette-Journal says Renner has a home in the area, near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno. The region saw a winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve that resulted in 35,000 homes across Northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon counties losing power as of this morning, according to the paper.
