MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Police in Lake County are looking into the deaths of a man and a woman at a senior living community apartment.

Officials haven’t said what killed the couple, but they said at a press conference on Sunday that their deaths look suspicious and will be considered murders.
Police in Mount Dora said that a security guard had called 911 to report the strange behavior.WFTV said they asked police multiple times if they were looking for a suspect and if the community was safe.
Interim Police Chief Mike Gibson said there is no threat to the public, but he was hesitant to say anything else.
At the press conference, WFTV talked to a couple who said that the days leading up to this murder were full of strange things. Frank and Pat Blair said a woman tried to get into their house the day before the murders.

Pat said that two police officers wanted them to look at a picture of three people to try to figure out who she was.
The Blairs reportedly told WFTV that the police wouldn’t tell them if the people in the photos were suspects in the murders or if the woman who tried to get into their home had anything to do with the murder.
Police said they should be able to give more information on Monday. They have been in touch with the victim’s son, but they won’t release names until he gets to town.
