Marvel’s “X-Men ’97,” an Original Series on Disney+, had been renewed for a second season before the Season 1 release last July during the San Diego Comic-Con Marvel Studios’ Animation Panel.
Production On X-Men 97 Season 2 Has Already Begun!
Cal Dodd, who provides the voice of Wolverine in the Disney+ animated series X-Men ’97, has stated that he is already working on the second season of Marvel Studios’ anticipated replacement for the cherished X-Men: The Animated Series.
Dodd posted on Twitter, which has since been deleted, that he has started writing lines for X-Men ’97 Season 2. “Yesterday Studio 2nd season AMAZING session!” wrote Dodd.
The voice actor adds in the supplemental video, “Wolverine’s 1997 X-Men voice actor was Cal Dodd (wiki). I say that Season 2’s start is simply the beginning. Put on your seatbelts, baby. Later.” During Disney+ Day in November 2021, Marvel Studios first revealed X-Men ’97.
The X-Men: The Animated Series, which broadcast on the Fox Kids Network for five seasons from 1992 to 1997, is directly followed by the Disney+ series.
Dodd reprises his role as Wolverine in X-Men ’97 along with many other original voice actors from The Animated Series. Currently scheduled to debut later this year is the first season of the show.
The X-Men Was a Well-Known TV Show in The 1990s
A first look at X-Men’97 and the animated series Season 2 renewal were both made public by Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Additionally, X-Men’97 would resolve several unresolved mysteries from the first series, according to chief writer Beau DeMayo, who hinted at this during the event.
Later that year, at Steel City Con in Pennsylvania, X-Men ’97 consultant Eric Lewald disclosed further that Disney and Marvel had paid a “substantial sum” to get the rights to utilize the enduring opening theme tune from X-Men: The Animated Series for their impending revival. X-Men 97 Season 2 Release Date

Nevertheless, Stewart played a character from the “Animated Series,” complete with his yellow hover chair and green costume, as opposed to portraying his Prof. X from the Fox film franchise.
Iman Vellani plays the title heroine in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, who discovers shockingly that her abilities come from a genetic “mutation” in her Genetics. The “X-Men: The Animated Series” theme song briefly played in the “Doctor Strange” and “Ms. Marvel” segments.
