Cast of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Are There Any New Characters?
Honor in Dungeons & Dragons One of the key parts in Among Thieves is played by Chris Pine, who is also one of Hollywood’s biggest superstars, in the character of Elgin the bard. To Collider, Pine referred, calling the figure “the ultimate party planner.” Pine has become famous for his role as James Kirk in the new Star Trek movies. In Wonder Woman, he portrayed Steve Trevor.
Starring beside them is Michelle Rodriguez, who plays the role of Holga, a barbarian. Rodriguez has been in numerous films and television shows, most notably Ana on Lost and Letty in the Fast & Furious series. Hugh Grant is ideally cast as the noble yet villainous Forge Fletcher. From “Bridget Jones’s Diary” through “Paddington 2,” Grant has played a variety of rakishly dashing men.
His most recent role was in The Undoing, where he played a more sinister but no less engaging antagonist. For his role as Forge Fletcher in the upcoming D&D adventure, Honor Among Thieves, we can’t wait to see him in action. Grant said he was psyched to read the script because it was one of the few comedic scripts he’d been handed recently. He also saw some Monty Python influences in it.
In the film, Justice Smith, known for his roles in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Detective Pikachu, will play Simon, a sorcerer. Smith’s acting credits include Radar in Paper Towns and Zeke in The Get Down. The paladin Xenk will be played by Regé-Jean Page, aka Bridgerton’s own Simon Basset. What turned a knight into a thief is a mystery that must be solved. The Gray Man, a film released in 2022, also featured Page.
Sophia Lillis plays Doric, a tiefling druid, in the show. Lillis has been in the films Sharp Objects and It: Chapter Two, and she will play Nancy Drew in the upcoming film Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase. Known for his roles in Jarhead 2 and Strangers on ITV, Jason Wong takes on the character of Dralas. Chloe Coleman of Little Big Lies and Daisy Head of the Netflix series Shadow and Bone and the horror flick Wrong Turn also star.
The film will also feature the much-loved but brief animated series characters. There has been no announcement about who would portray the roles. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was filmed primarily in Northern Ireland, with some filming also done in Iceland, and it appears to be a gorgeous film at the scenes where the action slows down enough for viewers to take in the surroundings.
Directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the script with Michael Gilio, helm Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Goldstein and Daley directed the bleak comedy Game Night and developed the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Below we’ve outlined the star-studded cast of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and their respective roles in the game:
- Hugh Grant: Forge
- Chris Pine: Edgin
- Regé-Jean Page: Xenk
- Sophia Lillis: Dorik
- Michelle Rodriguez: Holga
- Justice Smith: Simon
- Daisy Head: Red Wizard of Thay
What is the Plot of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves About?
D&D Roleplaying Game: A Game of Honor The protagonists of Among Thieves are, predictably, a gang of crooks who “helped the wrong person steal the wrong thing” and must set things righte the world. Even if they are dishonest, they will not stand by as the ultimate evil destroys their world.
They have a bard named Elgin who acts as the group’s strategist, a barbarian named Holga, a paladin named Xenk, a sorcerer named Simon, a druid named Doric, and a tiefling named Xenk.
The protagonists of the latest Dungeons & Dragons movie are a band of thieves who, by stealing a powerful artifact, aid a wicked genius.
The synopsis on the film’s website reads as follows:
“A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.”
There will be lots of monsters, evil masterminds, and comedic heroes, but the plot is yet to be completely unveiled.
