Lance Reddick di*d suddenly on March 17 at the age of 60. Heart disease was once said to have caused Reddick’s de@th. But a lawyer for the family says that an autopsy did not prove the cause of de@th and that it doesn’t fit with Reddick’s habits and fitness.
Lawyer James Hornstein said that Reddick was the fittest person he had ever met. He said that the actor worked out every day at his home gym. He did a lot of cardio and stuck to a strict diet, he said. He said it was a “contractual requirement” for Reddick to have “gym facilities” when he was working away from home.
Hornstein said, “The information appearing on the de@th certificate is wholly inconsistent with his lifestyle,” It’s not clear if anything else will happen after the statement.

TMZ got a copy of the actor’s de@th certificate, which said that he di*d of Ischemic Heart Disease and Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease. The actor was also praised for his work on The Wire.

Reddick, who was 60 years old, had pass*d out in his Studio City backyard and his wife, Stephanie, found him and called 911. At the time of Reddick’s de@th, a representative for the actor said that he di*d of natural causes, but didn’t say anything else.
Reddick was in the John Wick movies with Keanu Reeves, including the most recent one, John Wick: Chapter Four. He was also supposed to be in Ballerina, a movie that was a spinoff of a franchise.
He has been in a lot of TV shows, like Oz and Law & Order: SVU, but his most famous role was as Baltimore cop (and later commissioner) Cedric Daniels on HBO’s The Wire.
