The reunion moment is here! The first half of the Vanderpump Rules reunion will premiere on Bravo on Wednesday, May 24. Vanderpump Rules actress Ariana Madix told E! News on Tuesday, “There never been any reunion in any season, regardless of what was going on, where the cast — all of us — felt united.”
One participant said, “It was tough, but I almost felt more confident going into that day than I have on any other day filming a reunion.” Madix also said that the conclusion moved her to tears. “I watched it here in New York and I cried, definitely,” she said. “It was hard to watch but simultaneously, it felt like another lifetime.”
Madix gave her first interview since the #Scandoval scandal unfolded after last week’s finale aired on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. After Tom Sandoval’s infidelity scandal with Madix, his nine-year live-in girlfriend and co-owner of a property, was revealed, the show’s viewership began to skyrocket.
Raquel Leviss plays one of Madix’s best pals on the show. After news of the infidelity scandal surfaced in March, producers quickly returned to the set to film a second-season finale.
The season’s closing episodes have seemed bizarre and cringeworthy given what viewers now know about Sandoval and Leviss’ months-long romance, but the strategy has paid off in the ratings. TV Deets said the program immediately before the season 10 finale attracted more than 1.43 million people.
The finale drew in a stunning 1.8 million people in real-time, and the show’s popularity boosted ratings for WWHL, which attracted more than 1.4 million viewers, an all-time record for the show.
Madix discussed the infidelity scandal, the upcoming reunion, and the sale of her house with Sandoval in her WWHL interview. “My plan is to sell the house.” She told Cohen, “I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible and I want to move on.”
