John Beasley Cause of Deαth: Remembering His Memorable Roles in Film and TV

John Beasley, an actor best remembered for his work on the WB series “Everwood,” has di*d at the age of 79. What is known about his cause of deαth is provided here.

John Beasley spoke with tremendous regard for acting in September 2022, just before making his Broadway debut. Working as an artist is the highest calling, and I value where it leads me, he declared. His journey led him to both big and small screens for a career that didn’t truly get going until he was 40 years old.

Since then, John has produced a wide range of great work that we will be able to use for a long time. Sadly, he di*d at the age of 79, but his dedication to his profession will endure. What is known about the veteran actor’s cause of deαth can be found here.

According to Tyrone Beasley, son of John Beasley, “di*d in a hospital in his hometown of Omaha, Nebr.” At the time, he was undergoing tests on his liver, but unfortunately things “took a turn for the worst,” said Tyrone.

Michael, another son of John, wrote a heartfelt farewell on Facebook and thanked his dad.

“Man, you know this is a part of life, but that doesn’t make it any easier,” he wrote. “I lost my best friend today. They say you shouldn’t ever meet your heroes because they don’t turn out to be who you thought they were. That is so wrong.” Michael then added, “My hero was my father. Thank you for everything. I hope I made you proud. Love you more.”

John Beasley’s Memorable Roles in Film and TV

John Beasley frequently appeared in the most amazing roles. No matter how much screen time he had, he was the type of performer who filled it with grace and ease.

Without Beasley’s solid skills, movies like Rudy, Untamed Heart, and The Sum of All Fears would have been profoundly altered.

The gentle bus driver-turned-author Irv Harper, who put pen to paper to convey the charms of Everwood outside of its city borders, will be remembered fondly by viewers of the WB’s Everwood by John Beasley.

The show gave actor Chris Pratt his start, and as recently as May 2023, he was yelling out John Beasley while watching a Lakers game from courtside.

Malik Beasley, John’s grandson, is a member of the Lakers, so Chris used this as an opportunity to contact his former boss and friend. Michael, the father of Malik, tweeted the video.

Chris said, “Yo Beasley, I’m looking at your grandson Malik right now.” When he was around four years old, you said to me on Everwood, “My grandson’s gonna play in the NBA.’ Well, look at this, there he is.”

He was inspired to help others because he liked performing so much. “He established the John Beasley Theater and Workshop in Omaha and ran it for 13 years,” This gave him the chance to truly make a difference by imparting his knowledge to those who might not otherwise have the chance to do so outside of major cities like Los Angeles or New York.

One of his final performances was as James Garner in a Chicago production of The Notebook on stage. Regrettably, John did not live long enough to take part in the journey to the Broadway premiere.

He told American Theatre, “If I never got to Broadway, I would still feel I’ve had a pretty successful career,” He never made it there, but he undoubtedly succeeded.
