Park Soo-ryun, a South Korean actress who was in the TV series Snowdrop, has di*d at age 29. Local news sources say that the actress fell down a set of stairs on her way home on Sunday, June 1, 2023.
Park was taken to the hospital quickly, where doctors tried to bring her back to life but later said she was brain dead. The actress family has chosen to donate her organs because they will feel “comforted” knowing that her heart will help someone else.
Park’s mother said in a statement:
“Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs]. As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating.”
