Zion A member of the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA, Lateef Williamson is an American professional basketball player. He is a power forward and plays that position.
Williamson played at Duke as a freshman and was then taken first overall by the Pelicans in the 2019 NBA draft. In 2020, he was selected for the first team of NBA Rookies.
He made NBA history in 2021 when he was elected to his first All-Star game at just 24. Williamson, born in Salisbury, NC, and went to Spartanburg Day School, is widely considered one of the best basketball players in the 2018 class.
He was named South Carolina’s Mr. Basketball after leading his team to three consecutive state titles. Williamson graduated from high school having been named a McDonald’s All-American, a runner-up for Mr. Basketball USA, and to the first team of the USA Today All-USA. His high school slam dunks became famous all throughout the country.

Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans has a girlfriend named Ahkeema. The 23-year-old basketball player is rumored to be seven years older than her.
The details of her life are sketchy, however, it has been said that she was a stripper under the name of Monroe Rose in the past. Ahkeema sports a gold chain in the shape of a Rose, and both of her Instagram accounts are named after the flower.
How Long Have Zion Williamson and Ahkeema Been Dating?
Williamson and Ahkeema’s romantic history is shrouded in mystery. To our knowledge, Zion has never been publicly linked to anybody else, engaged, or fathered children.
Neither of them had ever featured on the other’s social media until the gender reveal, and their relationship was kept under wraps until then. After an outstanding career at Duke University, where he was crowned NCAA Player of the Year, Williamson was selected first overall by the Pelicans in the 2019 NBA Draft.

In June 2023, the couple shared that they were expecting a girl. Ahkeema announced her pregnancy with a video showcasing a spectacular gender reveal party at a house, which she posted on Instagram.

She captioned the image, “Thank you God for blessing my family with an addition we will give her unconditional love, guidance, protection & a family we are so grateful for #babywilliamson.”
“Thank you, friends, family & staff, and of course my aunt who helped me bring my vision together.” There was a chef-prepared meal, baby-themed games, and great pink and blue desserts.
Williamson is a co-parent to Ahkeema’s little boy from a previous relationship. There are no further children in Williamson’s family.
