The first leg of The Celebration Tour’s North American leg has been postponed, according to Live Nation. Madonna did not provide any additional information regarding her hospitalization. Madonna posted a selfie with the statement.
Guy Oseary, Madonna’s talent agent and producer, revealed on June 28 that the singer had been hospitalized in an intensive care unit on June 24 for treatment of what was being called a dangerous infection. “Her health is improving, however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote. “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”
