TOHO has revealed the long-awaited next installment in the Godzilla franchise in honor of “Godzilla Day”! Takashi Yamazaki, an award-winning Japanese filmmaker, has been confirmed as doing triple duty on the untitled picture. He’ll be directing, scripting, and supervising visual effects. The film’s plot is unknown but will likely be live-action.

Although Yamazaki isn’t well known outside of Japan, his work on war dramas with grand spectacles and the quest for Japan’s post-war identity make him a fascinating possibility for a new Godzilla film.

There currently needs to be more information available about Yamazaki’s Godzilla film. All that is known is that the film will take place between 1945 and 1947, as Japanese society strives to recover from World War II.
Who is Starring in Godzilla 2023?
The cast of the untitled 2023 Godzilla film has yet to be disclosed. However, the main photography for the film has already begun. Production began in March 2022 and ended in June 2022. Whoever is starring in the film has not revealed their involvement.

Is Godzilla 2023 Related to the Monsterverse?
No, there won’t be any continuity or canon between the 2023 Godzilla film and the MonsterVerse series. But this doesn’t imply Godzilla has reached its end in Hollywood.
