Why Was Icy Wyatt Arrested?

Icy Wyatt, also known as Wyatt Yeager, was arrested on March 28, 2022, and faced several charges based on court documents obtained by TMZ. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of battery on an officer, and one count of resisting arrest.

The incident leading to his arrest happened when he was driving a pink Mercedes “erratically” and stopped in the middle of a road in West Sunrise Boulevard, Florida.

Two people asked him to move his car, and a confrontation occurred when he followed them into a nearby car park. Allegedly, he threatened the two people and then took out a gun from his car, hitting one of the victims in the back of the head with it.

Police officers later arrested him and claimed that he became violent during the arrest, kicking one of the officers in the thigh. A video obtained by NBC 6 South Florida showed the police pushing him to the ground.

In September 2022, Wyatt posted a video on his TikTok account, claiming that the two people had been following and harassing him, and that police used “excessive force” during his arrest. He also suggested that his social media presence may have contributed to the incident.

At his court appearance on July 28, a judge decided that Wyatt would remain in jail until his trial due to an additional warrant issued after he was previously given a bond in 2022.

Icy Wyatt said in a tweet that: Also the “battery” on the police officer happened after I got arrested… I wasn’t arrested for battering a cop lol.
