Caleb posted a video on Friday, August 18, 2023, with the caption, “It’s a miracle that I’m alive today. Praise God. Thank you for this third chance at life! And also, thank you to anyone who is supporting me today. You will never know how much that truly means to me and my family.”

“Thank you for all of the prayers, kind words, and donations. I am overwhelmed with gratitude,” he added.

Caleb shared the TikTok from a hospital bed, where he was clearly hurt and had stitches in his head and cuts and bruises all over his face. In the short clip, he told his fans that he just found out his neck isn’t broken.

In a GoFundMe update that his sister Peyton had posted before, it was thought that Caleb might have broken his back when he slipped and fell while climbing with friends.

Caleb thanked the people who are helping him through GoFundMe, the Internet, and his faith. He then said, “This is not the first time I have almost died in my life.”

Caleb told his fans that when he was younger, the social media star had severe seizures and “almost died.” Caleb added, “I almost died yesterday, too.”

Caleb said that he had fallen between 60 and 80 feet, and he said, “I don’t even remember. I just woke up and I thought I was going to die. But then I didn’t die. Thank you God.”

Peyton told Caleb’s friends that he didn’t break his neck, but she also said that he had a “broken femur, elbow, wrist, and multiple gouges and burns throughout his entire body.”
