Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the last two surviving members of the famed band, appear in Dolly Parton’s cover of the Beatles song “Let It Be.”
The song’s rendition by the “Jolene” singer, which will be on her next “Rockstar” album, was released on YouTube on Thursday. Special guests Mick Fleetwood and Peter Frampton are also featured in the song.
Parton made the statement in an Instagram video with the song playing in the background:
Does it get any better than singing ‘Let It Be’ with @paulmccartney who wrote the song? Not only that, he played piano!
Well, it did get even better when @ringostarrmusic joined in on drums, @mrpeterframpton on guitar and @mickfleetwoodofficial playing percussion. I mean, seriously, how much better does it get? Thanks guys! Go give it a listen.

McCartney responded to the message, stating-
Thanks Dolly for doing my song. I love your version and am very pleased to be by your side on this one. Rock on! x
