Alex is the oldest of four sisters. She has younger sisters named Megan, Annie, and Samantha. Megan is a chef and works with their mom. Annie takes pictures, makes videos, cares about the environment, and even makes people laugh!

When Alex was in school, she went to Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach. After that, she went to San Diego State University. She learned about journalism and business marketing, and she graduated in 2009.
Alex started her job on TV by helping out on a show with Carson Daly. She also worked on shows like Fuel TV Download and E! News Now.
In 2011, she went to China to talk about sports on TV for FOX College Sports. The next year, she talked about beach volleyball on NBC Sports.
