Travis Shoots Laura Carlton Over Pride Flag Disagreement
This sad event happened when the police got a call about an emergency at the ‘Mag Pi’ shop on Hook Creek Road around 5 p.m. on Friday.
When they arrived, they found the shop’s owner, Laura Carleton, who was 66 years old, had been shot. Sadly, the paramedics couldn’t help her, and she died right there.
The person who did it had a handgun and ran away on foot, according to the police. Soon after, the police found Ikeguchi, the person they thought shot Laura, near the intersection of Rouse Ranch Road and Torrey Road. They had to shoot him, and he died.
Thankfully, the police who dealt with this situation were not hurt. The police didn’t say if they found a gun where they shot Ikeguchi or if they’re looking into this as a hate crime.
Later, they found out that the person who did it had said mean things about the rainbow flag outside the store before he shot Laura.
