Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
The first scene of the show is a flashback to Moiraine and Siuan joyously planning their future together 20 years earlier. To inform her of the end of the war, they go see their Blue Sitter.
However, before giving in to the vision of Rand being born on the battlefield, the Blue Sitter instructs Moiraine and Siuan to conceal the Dragon’s coming.
Siuan requests to meet Rand in present-day Cairhien because he is angry with Moiraine. When Rand and Siuan are face to face, she stuns him by limiting his powers and imprisoning him.
The Aes Sedai are instructed to imprison the Dragon Reborn after they have found him until they need him as a weapon in the final fight, as Siaund explains.
While in the Foregate, Mat is attacked and put to sleep. When he awakens, Lanfear is waiting for him in Falme. Nynaeve and Elayne are also collaborating in Falme on a strategy to save Egwene. Speaking of Egwene, she is now required to wear the hideous-looking golden gag as a part of her training.
To determine the boundaries of each channeler’s abilities, Renna and Egwene have gathered with the other sets of damane and their sul’dam. Of course, Egwene demonstrates her superior strength.
Ishamael provides Mat tea that enables him to see into all of his previous lives in an effort to persuade him to join the Dark. Several bad versions of Mat who were hanged for their sins in a past life are depicted in the vision.
As soon as he comes to, he accepts what Ishamael is offering—the chance to permanently halt the Wheel from turning. Perrin and Aviendha see two Aiel warriors while they are traveling through the desert toward Falme, and they inform Aviendha of some terrible news regarding one of their own.
As part of a strange ritual, Aviendha lets her other soldiers beat her, shocking Perrin. To the consternation of Moiraine, Siuan has protected Rand from the One Power and plans to reveal that the White Tower is in charge of him.
