XO, Fans of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before can’t get enough of Kitty now that she has arrived. However, will there be a season 2? Fans have been clamoring to watch the To All the Boys spin-off that Netflix said they were producing on Kitty (Anna Cathcart).
Kitty does not let you down, XO. To be with Dae (Minyeong Choi), Kitty enrolls in a boarding school in Seoul in the television series. But things are not as they appear, and Kitty is just as full of drama as To All The Boys, XO.
Is Xo, Kitty Season 2 Confirmed?
Yes! On June 14, 2023, Netflix formally announced that XO, Kitty would receive a second season. Kitty premiered at #2 on the English TV List with 72.1 million hours watched, according to a press release released by Netflix, XO, and made an appearance in the Top 10 in 90 (!) different countries in its first week.
The primary cast made the nicest announcement ever by sharing the information with one another in a pass-the-note-style video. The series’ star Anna Cathcart held out a piece of paper at the conclusion of the clip that read, “XO, KITTY SEASON 2 IS COMING.”

XO, Kitty Season 2 Release Date
XO, Kitty Season 2 has no release date as of this writing. However, it is very likely that it will be released in 2025. The continuous strikes by Writers Guild of America and SAG AFTRA members, which are unlikely to be settled by the end of 2023 or even the start of 2024, are the cause for the anticipated release date of 2025.
As a result, if production begins in 2024, the second season will most likely take at least a year to complete before being aired on Netflix. As a result, the 2025 release date seems more realistic.
Xo, Kitty Season 2 Cast
We anticipate that the entire core cast will return for season 2 of XO, Kitty if the show receives a second-season renewal.
Although nothing has been announced, we can probably anticipate that the entire core cast will return for a potential second season. Kitty Song Covey is currently being played again by Anna Cathcart in the cast of XO, Kitty. Dae is played by South Korean actor Minyeong Choi, who you may recognize from the K-drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
Jeon Hoyoung, who most recently participated in MNET’s talent competition Boys Planet, previously played the role. Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee, who portray Yuri and Min Ho in real life, are anticipated to return. Hopefully, we will also see more of Anthony Keyvan (Q), Jocelyn Shelfo (Madison), Peter Thurnwald (Alex), and Regan Aliyah (Juliana).
What Will Happen in XO, Kitty Season 2?
A second season of XO, Kitty will undoubtedly address the cliffhangers that the first season leaves open. Kitty admits to Dae that she has feelings for someone else before everything else.
He is confident Min Ho is to blame, but Kitty says she has fallen for Yuri. Although the couple splits up, whether that chapter is over is unclear.
Before taking off for the US, Kitty tries to express her feelings to Yuri, but when Juliana appears, it is evident that she is still with Yuri. Yuri and Juliana’s parents are now okay with their relationship.

Kitty may explore her s*xuality in season 2 and get involved in a love triangle with Juliana and Yuri. As if that weren’t enough, Min Ho confesses his love for Kitty to her when they are both seated on her journey home.
There will be enough for the writers to explore in season 2 as Kitty also discovers that her mother’s first love was a man by the name of Simon.
