She lived in Woonsocket for the duration of her childhood and graduated from high school there in 1978 until transferring to No. Smithfield in 2005.
She graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor’s degree in outdoor recreation before obtaining her primary education teaching certification at Roger Williams University. She was pursuing a master’s in elementary education at the time.
At Globe Park School in the Woonsocket School Division, Miss Ficca was a well-liked elementary school teacher. Her students and coworkers will sincerely miss her. She did, however, spend the majority of her time in Woonsocket, where she attended school and received her high school diploma in 1978. She decided to move to No. Smithfield in 2005 after finishing high school.
There, she pursued her tertiary education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in outdoor recreation from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and a teaching certificate in elementary education from Roger Williams University.
Terri Ficca continued her education by pursuing a master’s in elementary education. According to a primary school teacher in the Woonsocket School Department, Miss Ficca was teaching third grade at Globe Park School when she passed away. She was well-liked by her pupils and coworkers and will be sorely missed.
Terri Ficca spent a significant amount of time working at Eastern Mountain Sports and was highly recognized for the outdoor education seminars she conducted for the business.
Terri loved camping, kayaking, and hiking, which encompassed much of the Appalachian Trail, in line with her adventurous nature. She engaged in the Globe Park Parent Teacher Association, and Big Sisters of America, and she trained local Boy Scouts.
She also coached Woonsocket softball for 12 years. She also enjoyed her two cats, Maka and Talkeetna, and playing golf. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Thomas Ficca and his wife Ann Marie of No. Smithfield, Anthony Ficca, II, and his wife Janet of Norfolk, VA.
She is also survived by a sister, Christine Belisle, and her husband Normand of Spring Hill, Florida. In addition to her adored nieces and nephews, ‘T’ also leaves behind Bethany Leduc, Aimee Kenyon, Gary, Melissa, Emily, Robert, and Jacob Ficca.

Terri Ficca Obituary and Funeral
On Saturday, September 29, 2007, Terri Ficca’s funeral took place at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket.
Her interment took place in Blackstone, Massachusetts’s St. Charles Cemetery, according to a Legacy.com report.
