Manny Coto was a 62-year-old American writer, director, and producer who died in his Pasadena home on July 9, 2023. His wife of over two decades, Robin Trickett, and his four children, Manny Austin Coto, Rile Coto, and twins Charlotte Coto and Finley Coto, survive him.

What Was Manny Coto Cause of Death?
Manny Coto was born on June 10, 1961, in Havana, Cuba. The director and his mother, Norma, were forced to move to Orlando, Florida, where he grew up and attended school.
Although there is no information about his father, he is not his parents’ only child. He has two further brothers and sisters. His sister is Normi, and he has a brother named Juan Carlos, as well as eight nieces and nephews.
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, his family confirmed his death to Deadline, stating that he died of pancreatic cancer. According to his relatives, he had been sick for almost 13 months.

Manny Coto Career Was Excellent Before His Death
The producer, whose real name is Manuel Hector Coto, attended the American Film Institute and has worked in the science fiction and fantasy genres. He has a long and distinguished career as a screenwriter, television director, and producer of films and television shows.
Coto co-created Fox’s AI drama neXt and served as an executive producer on Dexter, Star Trek Enterprise, and American Horror Story, among other projects.
In 2005, he won an Emmy for his work on 24. Coto went on to co-create the follow-up programs 24: Live Another Day and 24: Legacy. Coto also served as executive producer for four seasons of American Horror Story and two seasons of American Horror Stories.

Coto also served as an executive producer on the final three seasons of Dexter, for which he received an Emmy nomination in 2011, and the final two seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise.
He directed the Feral episode of American Horror Stories in 2021. Coto also directed Zenon: The Zequel for the Disney Channel in 2001. Coto moved into feature films after performing commercial work and making his own films.
