Scott Van Pelt Wife Spent Six Years Working for ESPN
Stephanie Van Pelt, Scott Van Pelt’s wife, is a global business entrepreneur and consultant. Stephanie, 38, is a former ESPN associate producer and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communication.
Van Pelt worked at ESPN for six years and may have met her future husband there. Stephanie joined ESPN in 2005 after Scott had been there for four years. Stephanie worked as a teacher for a few years after leaving ESPN before joining her current company, Rodan + Fields. She is a market developer at the marketing firm and is in her eighth year there.
Since Rodan + Fields focuses on skin care products, Stephanie arranges online gatherings where she and her coworker occasionally discuss the merchandise. She has published numerous posts on her Instagram account, which is still hidden.
Stephanie is currently running a fundraising effort in memory of her late friend Tom Tavino, who passed away in June after a fight with cancer. The campaign set a minimum fundraising aim of $2000, which it has already surpassed, and a new goal of $3000 has been established.
As a part of the Gray Nation Endurance Team for the National Brain Tumor Society, Stephanie and her husband Scott will run the Big Sur 11-miler on April 30, 2023, in an effort to raise money for cancer research.

Scott paid a brief homage to his daughter on her birthday on ESPN’s One Big Thing on May 10, 2019. The sports presenter expressed his feelings about becoming a father for the first time, especially to a girl.
The sports anchor expressed his apprehension about becoming a father to a baby girl, claiming that his life would have been much easier if it had been a boy. But now that he sees her, Scott couldn’t be more proud of his daughter Lila.
Scott also encouraged other guys who would be fathers for the first time to be a better version of themselves for their daughters and to root for them.
Sam Van Pelt
Sam Van Pelt, a 6-year-old boy, was born on February 18, 2016. Scott named his first child after his father, who passed away in 1988.

Scott once stated that when Sam was a baby, he would sing Good Times by Sam Cooke to him and that even now, when Sam is sick, he begs his father to sing him the song.
Charlie Van Pelt
Charlie Van Pelt, a 5-year-old boy, was born on August 28, 2017. The tiny tot is a great fan of the Maryland basketball team and has even worn their bright red jersey to express his support.
However, it appears that the two brothers, Charlie and Sam, took some time to bond, as Scott once stated that Sam told him his smaller brother punches and bites him a lot. That was in 2019, so the two may have changed their ways now that they are older.

Van Pelt Family and Education
Cathie Mathis and Sam Van Pelt raised Van Pelt. His three brothers are Mark, Mike, and Matt. One of his brothers is in the Marine Corps.
Pelt began his education at Flower Valley Elementary School in Rockville, Maryland, and eventually proceeded to Sandy Springs High School. Van Pelt graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988 with a degree in radio/television and cinema.
Scott Van Pelt Professional Career
Pelt was a member of the University of Maryland’s Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He began his career at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C., a FOX affiliate. After leaving WTTG-TV in 1990, he went to work for the Golf Channel from 1994 until 2000.
Van Pelt debuted on ESPN in 2001. After joining ESPN, he hosted the popular show Sports Center. He was a well-known golf correspondent who covered big tournaments. He presently presents the nightly solo edition of SportsCenter.
Pelt also appeared on SportsCenter in August to cover the Maryland football controversy. He will host the 2nd Annual Change for Charley in Chicago on March 9.
