Swedish professional golfer Anna Maria Nordqvist, better known by her stage name Anna Nordqvist, competes on the Ladies European and LPGA tours, which are based in the United States.
Anna, who was born in Eskilstuna, Sweden, on June 10, 1987, started out as a talented amateur golfer who won championships both in Europe and the US.
Her amateur achievements include being the 2005 Swedish Amateur of the Year, the 2004 and 2005 Swedish Junior Player of the Year, and the 2005 Girls Amateur Champion.
After placing second the previous two years, Anna’s breakthrough came in 2008 when she won the British Ladies Amateur Championship. December 2008 saw her turn professional, and in 2009 she joined the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA.
She won her first major championship in 2009 at the LPGA Championship and her second in 2017 at the difficult Evian Championship in just her fifth outing on the LPGA Tour.
She achieved even more success in her career in 2021 when she won the Women’s British Open, her third major. She is also the only female non-American winner of major titles in three distinct decades. Anna has once again demonstrated her abilities with her recent victory at the 2022 Big Green Egg Open.
Anna Nordqvist Husband: Kevin McAlpine
The 2009 LET Rookie of the Year, Anna Nordqvist, is blissfully wed to former Scottish Amateur champion Kevin McAlpine. Kevin was born in Blairgowrie, Scotland, on January 13, 1984, and comes from a sporty family.
The former goalie for Dundee United is his father, Hamish Robert McAlpine. Kevin attended Menzilshill High School before attending Colorado State University to study criminology with a liberal arts minor.
In the same vein, Kevin has made a name for himself as a caddie, mostly on the LPGA Tour. He has been Martin Laird’s caddie since the start of 2021, going with him on the golf course and offering advice and encouragement that is invaluable.
Kevin is a valuable addition to Martin and other professional golfers he has worked with because of his expertise and understanding of the game. Kevin continues to encourage and help his wife succeed via his love of golf and commitment to his career.

Family Life And Marriage
Anna Nordqvist, a superb Swedish golfer, married Kevin McAlpine and found love and happiness. McAlpine, who caddies for Martin Laird of the PGA Tour, met Anna by chance when she was looping for Lexi Thompson on the LPGA circuit.
After beginning dating in 2016, Anna and Kevin announced their engagement in 2018, taking their relationship to the next level.
Like many others, the pair had originally scheduled their wedding for July 11, 2020, but the COVID-19 epidemic forced them to reschedule.
On August 15, 2022, two years later, nevertheless, Anna and Kevin married vows in front of their loved ones and close friends.
During an interview with The Scotsman, McAlpine commended Anna’s generosity and mentioned that he had assisted her in coming out of her shy shell.
People in their immediate vicinity may see how much they care for one another. Although Anna’s success has surely been aided by Kevin’s love of golf, the couple is now concentrating on their individual jobs.
