After almost seven months of marriage, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton filed for divorce from actor Lukas Gage. According to a court document seen by The Times, Appleton filed the marriage divorce proceedings on Monday 13 November, citing the standard “irreconcilable differences”; the couple had been split up since Friday. According to the prenuptial agreement the couple signed in May, spousal support and who gets what will be governed by it.

The petition states that the couple executed a postnuptial agreement in May and do not have any children together. Representatives for Appleton and Gage have been contacted by CNN for comments.
The divorcing couple tied the knot in April in Las Vegas, where country music icon Shania Twain serenaded the newlyweds and Appleton’s longtime client Kim Kardashian officiated the event.
Appleton said, “We did it,” as the caption for an Instagram photo that revealed their April wedding. At the time, Gage shared a set of images with the caption, “ring finger where the rock is,” gesturing to the rock and roll ASL sign he was holding up in the first image.

The pictures they shared showed Gage and Appleton posing with Kardashian in front of the Little White Chapel’s famous wrought iron gates in Las Vegas, while another picture showed Kardashian presiding over the wedding.
They also uploaded a video of Twain singing her hit song “You’re Still The One” live on stage in what appeared to be a private concert. In March, Gage and Appleton made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair and TikTok Young Hollywood party, marking the first time they had officially acknowledged their romance.
