Goicoechea was raised in Miami by a Puerto Rican father and an Italian mother. Her mother, renowned production manager for Act Productions Barbara Goicoechea, taught her the ins and outs of the entertainment industry. Jenn Goicoechea’s career began when she was hired as singer Ciara’s assistant very soon after.

Eventually, Goicoechea relocated to the West Coast to start her own company, Boogs’N’Effect Management, where she began representing musicians.
