Three persons who were charged in relation to January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol and were deemed fugitives after eluding law enforcement were taken into custody by the FBI on Saturday (6 January, 2023) in Florida.
According to an FBI press statement, Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III were taken into custody early on Saturday morning. On Monday, they are expected to appear in Ocala, Florida, federal court.
On the third anniversary of the attack on the Capitol, the arrests have taken place. The hundreds of people who stormed the Capitol to keep then-President Donald Trump in office continue to be a source of confusion for the judicial system.

Jonathan Pollock does not have a counsel listed in court records. Olivia Pollock’s lawyer opted not to respond. CNN has contacted Hutchinson’s listed attorney for a response.
Prosecutors have mainly concentrated “on those who entered the building or those who engaged in violent or corrupt conduct on Capitol grounds,” US Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves told reporters on Thursday.
Olivia Pollock failed to appear in court in Washington, DC, on the day she was scheduled to go on trial on federal crimes connected to the Capitol incident in March of last year.

Jonathan Pollock, her brother, has avoided law enforcement since he was initially accused in July 2021. The FBI had put up thousands of dollars to get his whereabouts information.
The FBI’s “Most Wanted” page still features thousands of pictures of those who are allegedly involved in the attack. Furthermore, around 80 persons are still wanted for violent crimes at the Capitol.
The prosecution charges Jonathan Pollock with assaulting two police officers in the face, kneeing one of them, pulling him downstairs, charging at law enforcement, holding one of them by the neck and forcing him to the ground, and smashing a police shield into his neck.
Prosecutors claim that Hutchinson, Olivia Pollock, and Jonathan Pollock assaulted many police officers in concert, and they are currently being charged with multiple counts. Olivia Pollock and Hutchinson have entered not-guilty pleas. Jonathan Pollock has entered no formal plea.
According to the Justice Department, more than 890 Americans have been found guilty of federal offenses, and over 1,200 Americans have been charged with crimes related to their alleged acts during the riot. The majority of those found guilty received prison sentences.
