What will the New Porsche Macan look like?
We have a very good idea of the appearance of the new electric Macan thanks to numerous spy shots and dozens of phototypes that Porsche has made public. The headlamp cluster is slimmer than the one on the departing Macan and resembles that of the Porsche Taycan.

The Macan EV’s rear appearance is also influenced by the Taycan, as evidenced by the car’s noticeable ribbed pattern on the bumper and slightly exaggerated haunches. The roofline of the Macan EV slopes down to the boot opening in a manner more akin to a coupe-SUV than the outgoing ICE model, giving it a far more rakish look. In addition to improving aerodynamic efficiency—which is crucial for electric cars—it provides the vehicle with a more aggressive stance.
Porsche has made some improvements in this area by adding some active aerodynamic components. Thus, when cruising, the front air flaps close, the rear spoiler goes to its lowest position, and the ride height decreases. As a result, the drag coefficient is as low as 0.25Cd, while that of its iX3 competitor is 0.29Cd.
