Is Moon Knight Season 2 Happening?
According to Mohamed Diab’s remarks, Moon Knight season 2 won’t be produced for the MCU. Oscar Isaac made his screen debut in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Marc Spector, the avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu and a former mercenary with dissociative identity disorder (DID) who shares his body with Steven Grant and Jake Lockley.
In 2022, Khonshu turned Spector into Moon Knight, a supernaturally endowed vigilante who fought the goddess Ammit and Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow on Disney+. Although Moon Knight is frequently considered one of the best additions to the MCU’s Phase 4, the show’s future is still unknown.
Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab recently spoke with Arabic Marvel (via The Cosmic Circus) to discuss the Marvel Studios creative process and his expectations for the continuation of the series, even though the prospective production of Moon Knight season 2 hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Sadly, Diab stated that “Loki is the only series [Marvel] said will be in two parts,” implying that Marvel Studios may not have ever even entertained the idea of producing a second season of Moon Knight.

Marvel had determined it from the first day. Marvel’s series projects are all six episodes except for special projects like WandaVision. The usual format is six episodes. Loki is the only series they said will be in two parts from the first day. Marvel’s way is not the usual way where if the project succeeds, I say let’s renew it for a second season. It’s their plan, successful or not, they have a plan.
