Despite his college success, Pierce wasn’t chosen in the 2001 NFL Draft. Many scouts thought he was too small to be a linebacker in the NFL.

Antonio Pierce is married to Jocelyn Pierce. Jocelyn works in real estate and she also used to cover sports news. They met for the first time in 2006 at a football event organized by ESPN and tied the knot in 2008 in Hawaii.
Jocelyn supports Antonio in his coaching duties for the Las Vegas Raiders, where he stepped in as the interim head coach in 2023.
