Blue Lock Chapter 254 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Even before its official release, spoilers for the manga have started circulating online.
In the upcoming chapter, we’ll see the impact of Bastard Munhen’s strategy change on their game.
Kunigami has been positioned as a defensive midfielder, setting the stage for a showdown with Ryusei Shidou, the one responsible for sending him to the Wild Card.
The story continues from where it left off, with Isagi and Hiori trying to recreate their outstanding goal from a previous match.
Suddenly, Noel Noa steps in, asking them to replicate their success. He then shifts Kunigami’s role, assigning him the task of restricting Shidou’s movements.
Blue Lock Chapter 254 Spoilers: What’s Happening?
In the next part of the story, called “Self Type/World Type,” things kick off right where they stopped.
Bastard Munchen decides to change their game plan, moving from a 4-4-2 setup to a 4-2-3-1.
This means Kunigami is now playing defense in the middle, not as a striker, and Kaiser is the only one up front trying to score.
Team Goals
The story then looks at Nanase and Tokimitsu, who are trying to help their teammate Rin become the star and get higher in the rankings.
Since Shidou has already scored, they need to make sure Rin scores too.
Back to the Match
After a break where people talked about Shidou’s hair, the game gets going again. Isagi starts thinking about how to play his best with Hiori’s help.
He figures out that players are either Self-Type, who play for themselves, or World Type, who think about the whole game.
Isagi thinks he’s more of a World Type but needs to learn more about others.

Fight for the Ball
The match heats up when Zantetsu goes hard and makes Alexis Ness lose the ball.
Hiori manages to grab it, but then Charles Chevalier takes it from him, showing he’s also got a special way of seeing the game, called Meta Vision.
Facing the Past
As Shidou goes for the ball, Kunigami runs back fast and heads the ball away. Shidou’s confused about who Kunigami is at first.
But Kunigami reminds him of their past issues and calls himself a “mediocre hero,” setting up a face-off between them. Meanwhile, Hiori’s getting ready to show Charles he’s just as good.
