Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford have ended their relationship. After going out for seven months, the “Happier Than Ever” singer and the lead singer of The Neighbourhood have broken up.
“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends,” a representative for Eilish told Page Six, which was the first to report the news. Billboard also heard from Rutherford’s rep, who said, “All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single.”

The first time the two were tied romantically was in October 2022, when TMZ showed photos of them eating together at the vegan restaurant Crossroads Kitchen in West Hollywood. A few weeks later, Eilish made it clear on Instagram that they were Dáting by posting a photo of their controversial Halloween outfit.

In the photo, the seven-time Grammy winner was dressed as a baby, and Rutherford was dressed as an old man, which could be a joke about the fact that Eilish is 21 and Rutherford is 31. Early in November, they walked the red carpet for the first time at the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2022. They wore matching Gucci jammies.
Later, in her annual Vanity Fair video interview in November, Eilish talked about her friendship with Rutherford. “It’s really cool, and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it,” she said of her relationship with the rock star. “I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f–king f–ker alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me … thank you, Jesse Rutherford, everyone! I pulled his a–. All me. I did that s–t.”
Rutherford used to be with developer Devon Lee Carlson for six years, and Eilish used to be with actor Matthew Tyler Vorce.
