Ryan’s amazing work in the music business has left an indelible mark on many people’s lives. He was known for his unique mix of electronic and melodic sounds, and his compositions moved people all over the world.

Longtime New Yorker Ryan Murgatroyd passed away on June 29, 2023, as a result of a sad accident. The father of one spent several days in the ICU before he succumbed to his injuries. In New York and Washington, Ryan was well-known for his work as a live sound engineer.
As we grieve alongside family and friends for this significant loss, words can’t adequately express our sorrow for your loss. We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of this young being. At Carlson Audio Systems, Ryan Murgs worked as an audio engineer. He was employed with Neptune Theatre up until his passing. He has worked as a manager and lead audio engineer at Showbox Presents and El Corazon, among many other locations. Many people praised Ryan as being a unique sound engineer who had a great passion for what he did. He was also praised by many for being a terrific partner and father to his son.
