Who is Julie Hampton?
Julie Hampton is the wife of Kirk Cousins. She was born and raised in Atlanta before beginning her studies at the University of Georgia in Athens. Her two brothers are named Steve Hampton and Scott Hampton.
Following his graduation from college, Hampton began his career as a primary school teacher. She spent a large portion of her adult life in Minnesota and Washington, DC, but she still makes a lot of time to support the Atlanta Falcons, her home club.
Julie Hampton relocated to Minneapolis with her husband from the team “the Washington Redskins” that selected him. Hampton has seen Cousins make four Pro Bowl teams, one of which will be in 2022–2023. Julie Hampton Cousins has crafted her own story and thrived in business outside of their union.
She co-founded the Julie & Kirk Cousins Foundation and is well-recognized for being an entrepreneur. In November 2022, the well-known couple also bought the Clearbrook Golf Course in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Kirk Cousins and Julie Hampton’s Relationship Journey
Hampton and Cousins initially connected in 2012 through a common family friend. In November 2013, about a year and a half later, Cousins announced on Twitter that he had proposed to Hampton and “She said yes”.

Hampton and Cousins were married on June 28, 2014, in Atlanta just a few short months after being engaged. Hampton revealed on Instagram in March 2017 that she was expecting her first child with Cousins.

The birth of their son Cooper was announced on Twitter by Cousins’ team “the Washington Commanders” at the time in September of that year.

On September 10, 2018, The NFL player posted a picture of their child Cooper clutching a sign that read, “Mom & Dad are getting me a brother” on Twitter to announce that their family will be growing the following year.

Turner’s birth was revealed on Instagram in March 2019. The caption was “Welcome to the world, little buddy.”
