Daniel’s life was a shining example of living it to the fullest. He graduated from Neenah High School, raised four children, and spent an impressive 41 years working at Banta’s in Menasha.

After retiring, he turned his dream into reality by creating a home on his cherished 40 acres in Waushara County, where he enjoyed hunting and even ventured into raising chickens.

A true sports enthusiast, Daniel dedicated his time to volunteering at various organizations like Twin City Rod & Gun, Boy & Girls Brigade, Camp Onaway, Moles Unlimited, Sturgeons for Tomorrow, and Ducks Unlimited.

His passion for nature extended to his unique collection of license stamps, dating back to 1935, which will find a new home at Necedah National Wildlife Refuge.
