Tyler Clayton Obituary
On August 7 2023, Tyler Collin Clayton, 47, of Atlanta, Georgia, died away quietly. His untimely passing has left his family in great sorrow. His devoted wife, family, and close friends were all around him. The reason for his untimely death is unknown at this time.
On September 1, 1975, Tyler was born in Saranac Lake, New York, to Glenda C. Keyes and Raymond Clayton Jr. Along with his younger sister Chelsea, he was raised in Columbia, South Carolina, where they both attended Brookland Cayce High School.
Tyler went to Atlanta, Georgia, after finishing high school in 1994 to pursue his passion for sketching and art at The Atlanta College of Art. He met Lauren Amos, his soul mate and the love of his life, in college.
Tyler Clayton shared a post on Facebook:
This October, Tyler and Lauren will celebrate 16 years of marriage. They have been together for 22 years. Their affection for one another was genuinely contagious. When you saw them together, they truly loved one another with all their heart and soul.
Tyler was exceptional. His smile would brighten the room, and he would sacrifice anything for you. He had such a wonderful nature and was very considerate and caring. His ability to make you feel like one in a million and the numerous lives he impacted will be how he is remembered.
Many in the drifting community know Tyler better as “Revel” because he founded and owned KoruWorks. “Revel” is “to be absorbed in, to be devoted to, to be a fanatic about,” and Tyler personified this definition.

He gave KoruWorks and the creation of automobiles his entire heart and mind. His love of vibrant colours, Japanese culture, and drifting was evident in his work and his store, KoruWorks. In 2020 and 2023, Tyler was highlighted in Super Street Magazine.
Tyler, unfortunately, received a lung cancer diagnosis in 2018. He did not waver in his battle against cancer. He was a warrior who was adamant about never giving up! We will miss him daily, but we have faith that we shall see him again in heaven.
He will be remembered for his generous spirit, contagious smile, and steadfast devotion to Lauren, his soulmate, his family, and his friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lauren Amos; his mother Glenda Keyes; his sister Chelsea Bell (Jason); nieces and nephews EllyAnn, Edith, and John, as well as many other relatives and friends. His father, Raymond Clayton Jr, predeceased him.
Services will be placed at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church on August 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The family prefers donations to Meals On Wheels Atlanta instead of flowers.
