Larry C. Hoffman, born in Fogelsville, was a beloved Allentown resident. He was the late Clinton A. Hoffman’s and Lena A. Hilbert’s son. Larry’s 81-year adventure ended peacefully on July 11, 2023, at the Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice Unit.

Larry C. Hoffman Faith and Community
Larry was a devoted member of Lynnville’s St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. His faith was important in his life, leading him through both joys and tragedies. Larry had a strong connection to the local community, having served on various Rauds for Grundsow Lodsch’s in the area.
Larry C. Hoffman Career and Passions
Larry spent his entire life working as a shipper/receiving clerk in several warehouses in the Lehigh Valley. But Larry’s life wasn’t all work. He and his late wife, Darlene, had a special interest in collecting and trading salt and pepper shakers. Their collection was well-known, and they traveled to flea markets and conferences across the country to show off their treasures.
Larry and Darlene were professional square dancers with the Earl Keller Melody Rangers in the 1970s and 1980s. Many people were taken aback by their exquisite movements and synchronized steps.
Larry was a family man first and foremost. His best times were spent with his family and friends. He treasured the memories he formed during family trips to Disney World, where laughter and pleasure abounded.

Larry C. Hoffman Obituary and Farewell
Larry’s memorial ceremony will be conducted at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, on Thursday, July 20 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are encouraged to pay their respects from 9:30 to 11 a.m. during the visit. Larry will be laid to rest at Lynnville’s St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family recommends that donations be made to St. Peter’s U.C.C. or the Weisenberg/Lowhill Historical Society in honor of Larry’s life and legacy. Donations can be mailed to Keller Funeral Home, P.O. Box 52, Fogelsville, VA 18051.
