Savannah Grant’s Story of the Acid Attack is Brought to Light as She Gets Out of Prison
On July 20, 2002, Savannah Grant, who was 23 then, flung a poisonous mixture of red lye and Clorox bleach in Greenlee’s direction. Her back, neck, and face were all burned by the acid, which also rendered her eyes completely blind.
In a podcast interview with celebrity blogger Tasha K, Grant stated that she was unaware that Greenlee was seeing her boyfriend until the trial following the attack. At the time, the two ladies were inadvertently dating the same man.
According to reports, Grant’s residence is where Greenlee recently met her partner. Grant asserts on the podcast that Greenlee constantly called her home and once showed up at her door uninvited.
“I was like why do you keep calling my house? I have a baby here. Why do you keep calling and hanging up all night long?”Grant told Tasha K.
Sabrina slumped to the ground when Savanah flung the acid, and the cheating boyfriend allegedly took her to a gas station before abandoning her there.
Greenlee told USA Today, “He left me there to die. “Every piece of flesh on my body came off. I was lying there, close to death. This woman’s store was covered in blood.
Greenlee was transported to the neighbourhood hospital by an ambulance after the station attendant shut the doors and dialled 911. She was then sent to a hospital in Augusta, Georgia, where she underwent skin grafts for her face and spent three weeks in a medically induced coma.
Following a court hearing, Savannah admitted to violence and assault with the intent to kill. According to court records, she was given a 20-year prison term in a South Carolina prison.
Grant entered prison in 2003. Thus, 2023 will mark the end of her sentence. She confirmed that she had been released from jail by appearing on Tasha K’s Unwine With program.
